The Detroit Pistons may pursue Tobias Harris in free company, sources inform Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Pistons are trying to speed up their rebuild and will use a veteran presence on the wing.
Harris is coming off a five-year, $180 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Pompey additionally writes that “Harris could also be pretty much as good as gone” from the Sixers this offseason.
Harris was traded by the Orlando Magic to the Pistons in 2016 shortly after signing a four-year, $64 million deal. Harris was subsequently a part of a 2018 commerce to the Los Angeles Clippers for Blake Griffin. Harris was traded in 2019 to the Sixers.
