A wrongful termination lawsuit filed by Donnie Nelson towards the Dallas Mavericks has been “dismissed with prejudice,” in line with Dallas County court docket paperwork filed final week. The lawsuit was scheduled to go to trial in December.
“The events have reached a decision of their dispute on confidential phrases,” Rogge Dunn, Nelson’s legal professional, instructed ESPN.
Nelson was fired in June 2021.
Within the lawsuit, Nelson claims that he was fired by the Mavs in retaliation for reporting that Mark Cuban’s “right-hand particular person” allegedly sexually assaulted Nelson’s nephew throughout 2020 All-Star Weekend.
