Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is bracing for backlash from Boston Celtics followers following his determination to bench Jayson Tatum in the course of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As Workforce USA’s head coach, Kerr confronted criticism after limiting Tatum’s taking part in time in the course of the match.
In an interview with Steve Aschburner of NBA.com, Kerr defined his reasoning behind Tatum’s diminished minutes.
“Tatum dealt with issues so effectively. It turned a media topic, however he couldn’t have dealt with it higher,” Kerr stated.
