The Charlotte Hornets stuffed out their camp roster by signing a quartet of gamers. The Hornets signed guards Marcus Garrett and Caleb McConnell, ahead Keyontae Johnson and heart Joel Soriano to coaching camp deal. Charlotte has an open two-way spot, and this foursome could also be competing for that one opening.
Garrett performed for the Hornets G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm, final season. He averaged 10.1 factors, 5.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.8 steals for the Swarm. Garrett beforehand performed on a two-way contract for the Miami Warmth.
McConnell performed for the Oklahoma Metropolis Blue of the G League final season. He averaged 7.1 factors, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals.
Johnson spent final season on a two-way take care of the Oklahoma Metropolis Thunder. He noticed restricted NBA motion. In 38 video games with the Blue, Johnson averaged 19.7 factors and 6.2 rebounds per sport.
Soriano went undrafted out of St. John’s on the 2024 NBA Draft. As a senior for the Pink Storm, Soriano averaged 13.8 factors, 9.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per sport.
