The WNBA Golden State staff can be often known as the Golden State Valkyries, the staff revealed on Tuesday.
“Originating from Norse mythology, Valkyries are a number of warrior ladies who’re fearless and unwavering – flying by air and sea alike. This model is Golden State’s trendy interpretation of Valkyries: sturdy, daring, and fierce,” introduced the staff in a press launch.
The Valkyries will compete beginning within the 2025 season.
The staff has surpassed over 7,500 season tickets for its inaugural season.
